Dear Mike and Faye, First of all I would like to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I have been incredibly busy with my motel business in Ocean City and have had no time for anything else. Having said that I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your restoration of my Seeburg 222. The box arrived from the STI shippers in perfect condition and was placed in my guest house with no problem whatsoever. They are a first class company and the young men who delivered it could not have more helpful and were quite willing to put the box inside where I wanted it, which was no small feat considering they had to lift the box up several steps of an outside deck to gain easy access to the house. When I had time a few days later to completely take all of the packing off and set the box up using your very thorough and complete instructions, I plugged her in, made my first selection and it picked it up and worked perfectly. The cosmetic work on the box is a work of art considering what it looked like when I sent it to you. All of the chrome is just beautiful, the cigarette burned selection button replaced, Faye’s work on the veneer and everything else that needed to be replaced was perfectly done. Thank you for an extremely well done high quality restoration. Wishing you all the best.

 I have one other problem. It was not playing some selections so I’ve removed and cleaned the pin bank.  I have it back together and it automatically started playing each track one by one. All the A sides then the B sides. It’s playing perfect but I can’t get it to stop playing automatically and play selections via the buttons
 I think I had most the pinbank pins outwards when I reinstalled it. Is there a correct position for them on install  Does this sound like it could be my problem
Any help would be very appreciated
 Also do you Sell or can you buy new needles to suit

Brock needed some parts in Australia and we fixed him up with a motor and capacitor....

The pin cancel contacts not adjusted right and the pin solonoids are dirty and the spring loaded cancel pins are most likley stuck... clean them...  :)

Hi Mike I was looking at your new website and in the testimonials I saw the one I sent you on 24 December 2008 when I received my restored 201 which you accurately described as "horrible" ! 

I thought I'd drop you a note to tell you that it is not only still going strong but it has not missed a beat since that date.

It is used 3-5 times a week and nothing, not even a bulb or tube has needed replacing, plus it sounds as good as the day it arrived.

Terry made it home before the rain. The kids were happier to see the jukebox than him. We added a few new records to it. We have 25 more coming, from e-bay wins. We got a 20 record set of Glenn Miller for our 14 year old. (That's one of his favorites.) The 6 year old remembered all his Billy Joel numbers. Thanks for getting it done so quickly. We've owned our Seeburg HF100G for almost 5 years and while we have enjoyed it, the sound was never right (the guy we bought it from promised the amp was freshly rebuilt) 

 the volume was too low and it had no base.  Finally it died completely. 

 We sent it off to you and waited impatiently for the return.  

 What a difference upon return.   The sound is really there!!!!!   We love playing it!

A "BIG" thank you for taking the time to fix our jukebox yesterday!  After leaving, we drove into Columbus to see our daughter and then headed back to Sandusky.  We arrived home about 8:30.  Mike, your knots worked great in holding the jukebox in place on the truck.  We got our jukebox back into the room and plugged it in.  It works great!!!!!!!!  I did find in the Alwaysjukin magazine a company that rebuilds speakers.  It was SRS Enterprises out of Colorado.  Do you have any thoughts on having speakers rebuilt?  We thought of sending our tweeter in to have it rebuilt.  Would appreciate your thoughts.  Again, thank you Mike for your tremendous ability!  Best wishes.   Mike and Hope Bailey Mike - Just a short note to let you know that the jukebox is working great.  It is playing right now.  I did put a piece of plywood underneath.to allow air to pass thru because the carpet is thick , as you requested..  I  Have it all cleaned up and repainted the cover for records.  It really looks great.  Thank you very much and hope you had a safe trip home.  Take care and see you later. Mike     I have had a marvelous time with my selectomatic 100. You guys did an amazing job on my box. It has made a wonderful addition to our home. Thanks for the tip about oiling the clutch in my 100B I bought from you in 1998.

That solved my problem of the "carriage" motor running but not picking up records. 

 I will try to remember that for "next time".
 
The 6V bulb that lights up the 100 in the mechanism cover has been burned out for years.  While I was inside oiling, I removed it and went to EVERY auto, electric, and hardware store within 15 miles.  Nobody has one and nobody even has a similar one listed in the parts catalog.
 
Do you have one?  If so I would like two.  One to use and one for a spare.

you serviced my 201 back in 2000..

after getting it back from you it has worked perfectly...

right now...every once in a while...

while any song is playing....

the volume will drop down a bit during the song...

as if I turned the volume down,

 and then perhaps 4 seconds later..the volume will go back to normal...

my guess hopefully is that a tube is going bad....

what do you think and if the tube is your guess also..

which tube (s) do I need to replace?

  Also....when I need to replace the cartridge / needle on this box...

which make and model do you suggest??

IT'S FANTASTIC.!

LOADED ALL  NEW 45s IN LAST NIGHT. 

 WHAT IS THE VOLUME SET AT?  

 MY WIFE AND I THINK ITS ABOUT PERFECT. !!

 I DID NOTICE  A LITTLE DIFFERENTIAL IN THE

 VOLUME FROM TIME TO TIME ,

 BUT NOT SERIOUS .

FOR EXAMPLE WHEN ONE SELECTION IS PLAYING

AND YOU MAKE ANOTHER SELECTION,

IT MIGHT CHANGE  WHILE THE SONG IS PLAYING.

YOU'RE DIRECTIONS WERE TREMENDOUS, 

 EASY TO FOLLOW  ...ALL GOING WELL. 

 STILL PLAN ON SENDING YOU A VIDEO WITH ME BY MY "222"

I told Chuck to check for  LOOSE TUBES in the amp.. .

during shipping sometimes

they loosen a little....that would cause this...

Chuck is in Iowa

 and owns his own radio station...

so he likes "Music"
